Each painting begins as a structured composition — often symmetrical, almost architectural — and evolves through layers of gestural marks, textural experiments, and intuitive color decisions.

Each painting develops through a dialogue between planning and discovery — from initial geometric scaffolding to final color harmonies.
Foundation
Compositions begin with pencil or charcoal underdrawings — grids, symmetrical axes, repeating modules. This structural skeleton guides the work while leaving room for deviation.
Color as rhythm
Color is applied in layers — flat fields first, then glazes, scumbles, and impasto accents. The palette shifts between warm and cool, saturated and muted, creating visual vibration.
Surface & texture
Mixed media elements — sand, marble dust, fabric — enter the surface. Scratching, scraping, and re-painting reveal history within the work, echoing the layered nature of memory.
